STORY OF O SLAVE RING

These rings are fashioned after the ring that O wore in the film version of the well-known "Story of O" as she experiences her journey through BDSM exploring her submissiveness. Often known as the "Story of O ring", it has also been called the "Story of O slave ring", or simply a "slave ring".

It is now worn by submissives, Dominants, Tops, and bottoms alike. They are worn on any finger, including the thumb. Some wearers choose to wear a slave ring on the left hand if submissive and on the right hand if Dominant; however, this is by no means a hard-and-fast rule.

This slave ring is a band with a representation of a shackle on the top of it. Originally it was a simple flat ring, but I have created a number of variations on it to cater to a variety of tastes.

The Story of O slave rings that I make come in a flat style and in a rounded style. Both are available in three different widths, and the shackle can also be made in three different sizes. As well, I have made many styles of rings that resemble the links of a chain as opposed to a solid band of metal. Add a shackle to a ring like this and you have a chain-link Story of O ring.

There is another style of slave ring that I make that was popular in the 1970's. This "Classic slave ring" is built in such a fashion as to appear as a "V" on the wearer's finger. It is available with or without the same sort of shackle as on the Story of O ring.

For the small finger I have made a Story Of O slave ring that is daintier. This ring is more narrow and the top of it that the shackle runs through is smaller.

Anyone familiar with the distinctive style of a ring with a shackle on it will easily recognize it as a Slave ring or Story of O ring, and will associate the wearer with a BDSM lifestyle or interest of some sort.

The slave rings that I make are of very high quality, hand-made and polished. I make them in both yellow and white gold. I also make them in sterling silver. I use a superior sterling silver. I apply a final manufacturing process that creates a harder metal. This  will resist wear better and is more resistant to tarnishing than the regular sterling silver alloys. I regularly work in platinum as well. Please write for a quote for any ring that you want in platinum.

Rounded Story of O slave rings

The ring on the top left is a wide rounded Story of O slave ring. It is 7.25 mm in width (almost 5/16 of an inch).

The middle ring is a medium rounded slave ring; it is 6 mm wide (about 1/4 of an inch).

On the bottom left is a narrow rounded slave ring; it is 4mm in width (5/32 of an inch).

Flat Story of O slave rings

On the top right is a wide flat Story of O slave ring. It is 7mm in width (slightly more than a 1/4 of an inch).

The middle ring is a medium flat slave ring and it is 5.5 mm in width (7/32 of an inch).

The ring on the bottom right is a narrow flat slave ring. It is 4.25 mm in width         (3/16 of an inch).

Yellow Gold Shackles on Sterling Silver Rings

When you choose a sterling silver ring, you can also choose to have a 14 kt yellow gold shackle put onto your ring. The yellow gold shackle gives the ring a bolder appearance.

Small Finger Story of O Ring

The ring on the top left is the perfect ring for a small finger. It is 3.3 mm wide (1/8 of an inch). The shackle runs through a small raised part of the ring keeping it dainty. The inside of this ring is rounded for comfort and durability.

The Classic Slave Ring with a Shackle

The classic slave ring from the 1970s was two "v" shaped parts joined together. I have updated this popular design and added a shackle to create a Story of O Ring with a classic twist.

Flat Chain Link Ring with Shackle

At the top right of the picture is a ring that has the appearance of flat chain links encircling the finger. On the top of the ring is a shackle creating a Story of O Ring.

Rounded Chain Link Ring with Shackle

The ring on the bottom right of the picture resembles rounded chain links. Adding the shackle creates the illusion of a Story of O ring chained to the finger.
