Ring Size
When I measure a finger, I will
know exactly the right size.
You are welcome to visit my studio/shop to have a finger measured.
My customers are often over
thousands of miles away!
Coming to see me may not be practical.
You have three ways to give me the ring size you need.
1) Visit a local jeweller.
Many jewellery stores are obliging when asked to measure a finger.
If you are ordering a wide ring, let them know. They will use a set
of ring sizers that are for wide rings. Choose that size on the
order form.
2) Measure the inside diameter of a ring.

Use a ring that fits.
Measure the inside diameter of it.
(Note: the ring must be round; an out of shape ring will not provide
an accurate measurement.)
- Place the ring flat on ruler so that one edge of the
inside of the ring is right on a line on the ruler. Measure the
opening of the ring at its widest point.
- Look directly down at it. Do not move your head from side to side
as you measure.
- Take note of the measurement to the
opposite side of the opening of the ring.
- If you are measuring in millimetres,
measure to the nearest millimetre. If you are measuring in
inches, measure to the nearest 32nd of an inch.
- Give me this measurement on the order
form.
- I will make the ring that you are
ordering the same diameter and it will fit.
3) Circumference of a finger.
I can use the measurement of the circumference of a finger to make a
ring that will be a perfect fit for that finger.
You can make a ring out of paper and tape, and then cut it and measure the length of the cut piece.
This measurement is the circumference of the finger. Enter it into
the order form.

You will need, paper, scissors, tape and a
ruler.
